Description
Stuart Farrell was commissioned by AWG Construction Ltd in February 2004 to undertake an archaeological watching brief at Grannies Heilan Hame (centred at NH 8173 / 9222) as part of a project for new caravan stances. Highland Council Archaeology Unit produced a specification for this work.
Work revealed no archaeological features or deposits only clean sand dunes. It may be possible that the site had seen some landscaping in the past.
