Description
Stuart Farrell was commissioned by Baxter Clark & Paul on behalf of Wilburn Homes Ltd in late July 2004 to undertake an archaeological evaluation for the proposed housing development at Baldow Park, Kincraig following a desk top exercise and walkover survey (see EHG1082). Trial trenching, comprising 15 trenches 1.6m wide and of varying lengths (totalling 888.3m²), revealed no archaeological features in the development area, though a single flint scraper was recovered from the base of a slope. No recommendations for further archaeological work were proposed.
