Description

An archaeological field evaluation was undertaken on the site of a proposed hotel at Cradlehall Farm, Inverness. Six trenches covering 5% of the site were excavated by machine. Three pits, a charcoal spread, one possible posthole and a number of field drains and cultivation marks were identified. All the features identified are considered to be relatively recent in date and no further archaeological work is recommended. <1>
