Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out at Craig Phadraig, Inverness by Mary Peteranna for Highland Archaeology Services Ltd in September 2006 during construction of a footpath. Following removal of the ground surface the path was walked three times to check for any visible archaeological features. The whole line was then photographed at approximate 10m intervals starting at the north east end and moving west. At the north east end of the path there was a dip in the surface into which the path builder placed large stones to aid drainage. These are not an archaeological feature. No features or artefacts of archaeological significance were found. <1>
