Description

An archaeological desk-based assessment and field inspection was undertaken in December 1994 by the Centre for Field Archaeology (CFA) at Meall an Tuirc and surrounding area within the Novar Estate, near Evanton. The assessment was designed to identify and evaluate any archaeological sites and monuments present in the proposed windfarm area, along the access route and at the proposed substation and construction compound areas, though the examination of desk-based sources and a field inspection of the area. <1>
