Description

An archaeological desk-based assessment and photographic survey was undertaken in January 2001 by CFA Archaeology Ltd in relation to the proposed re-development of the Glebe Street Swimming Baths, Inverness. This work was commissioned by Ian S Fergusson Architects on behalf of Tulloch Properties Limited and in compliance with Highland Council's 'Brief for Archaeological Work at Glebe Street'. The objective of this study has been to assess the development area in terms of its archaeological potential. Pre-demolition photographic records of the accessible key features of the original building have been made. <1>
