Description
Fieldwalking was carried out by students of the University of Aberdeen, led by J Kenworthy, in a field at Torbreck Farm, Inverness in 1998-99. A low-density flint scatter was identified, from which a very samll button scraper was identified. The technology indicated a Mesolithic date. <1>
It was indicated in <1> that it was planned to continue and widen the field-walking into a long-term programme but there are no further details for this and it was not reported in DES.
