Description

A limited GPR survey was carried out by ORCA in 2008 at the supposed site of an early Christian monastery at Ballachly, near Dunbeath. The survey was undertaken as a transect across the location of the proposed Trench VI in the second season of fieldwork by the University of Nottingham (see also EHG2992), in order to evaluate if the technique would be useful in future work. <1>
