Description

AOC Archaeology Group were commissioned by Scottish and Southern Enery plc to undertake an archaeological evaluation of a short linear alignment of boulders recorded during a walkover survey. The feature lay within the limits of a proposed borrow pit. The evaluation comprised two machine-excavated linear trenches, each measuring 20m by 2m, centred on and perpendicular to the linear feature. No archaeological features, deposits or artefacts were recorded. <1>
