Description

An archaeological evaluation consisting of six trial trenches took place within a low-lying and seasonally waterlogged improved field. The trial trenches located land drains and a field boundary dating to 19th-century agricultural improvement, with a scatter of contemporary or later finds. No evidence for earlier occupation and land use was recovered. <1>
