Description

The 2009 season of the Loch Hourn survey aimed to complete a rapid walkover survey of Outer Loch Hourn, from Sandaig round to Slisneach. The object was to prospect for and record all the archaeological remains along the shoreline of the loch, along with as much as possible of the hinterland. Scale drawings were made of identified features wherever possible. <1> The nineteen individual survey areas are indicated on the HER map as central points. <2>
