Description

Monitoring of test pitting on the sites of two proposed borrow pits was carried out by Glasgow University Archaeological Research Division (GUARD), on behalf of Scottish & Southern Energy. Eleven trial pits were monitored. No significant archaeological features were encountered although one borrow pit was close to a structure used as a sheep wash. <1>
