Description
An evaluation by trial trenching was conducted in advance of a proposed housing development. Six trenches were excavated all measuring 10m long and 1.5m wide, with Trench 4 being extended to 13m. A single linear feature was identified in Trench 4. This was sample excavated and proved to be the cut for a modern clay field drain. No archaeological features or finds were recorded. <1>
