Description

Small-scale excavations were carried out by Kirkdale Archaeology in 1990 for Historic Scotland near the traverses at the easternmost point of the defences of Fort George. This was to investigate the unfaced masonry at the foot of the traverses and the firing steps of the covered way. <1> No further details.
