Description
An evaluation was carried out by Pete Higgins on behalf of Stuart Farrell on a proposed development site on Nairn Road, Ardersier in 2013. Fifteen trenches were mechanically excavated, amounting to 800m² (approx 7%) of the development area. Features and artefacts probably relating to landscaping around a building shown on the OS 1st Edition map were found, as well as the remains of a wall of a differeent pahse of land use, all in the northwest quadrant of the site. <1>
There are only fourteen trenches shown on the site plan in the report.
