Description

A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by C Dagg in 2012 in advance of a proposed woodland planting scheme at Coul Farm. The proposed scheme covers an area of new planting on the east side of the Markie Burn in Glen Markie. It consists of one block of native woodland planting, 59.34Ha in size. The proposed planting area contained one Scheduled Ancient Monument, with associated field systems and small features dating to the post-mediaeval period. The survey more precisely defined the boundary of the Scheduled site and the extents of associated minor features and field systems. <1>
