Description
A DBA and walover survey was carried out by Highland Archaeology Services Ltd in January 2011 in advance of a proposed woodland development schemet at Glengeoullie, Cawdor. The survey area covered approximately 245 hectares in which fifteen archaeological features were recorded, including a longhouse, a neolithich burial cairn, bronze / iron age hut circles, ridge and furrow, buildings from various periods, clearance cairns and peat cuttings. <1>
