Description
Stuart Farrell was commissioned in April 2009 to undertake a desk-based assessment and walkover survey for a proposed house to be sited close to the former herring station at Dunan, Skye. Work revealed a number of previously unrecorded archaeological structures, including a main buildimng with store and an adjacent house/store and a yard. <1>
The report states that it is interim and that additional historical research may be carried out. As of 2014 this does not appear to have been carried out.
