Description

A comprehensive survey of Historic Tain including its archaeology and development was undertaken as part of Historic Scotland's Scottish Burgh Survey Series by members of ARCH Highland between October and December 2010. This community project was designed to produce a record of heritage remains and resources in the Tain area, and to make these memories accessible to the community. A report was produced about the project and a database was provided of all of the sites visited and recorded throughout the project. <1> <2>
