Description
The site of a potential borrow pit, part of the Kilbraur Windfarm development, was subject to a walkover survey by Headland Archaeology Ltd prior to April 2006 north of Golspie, Sutherland. The borrow pit was located in an area of cleared forestry beside the Dunrobin Glen Road. There were no known sites within or adjacent to the area, although settlement and cultivation remains have been identified in similar topographic situations further up the glen. No upstanding features of archaeological interest were identified. <1>
