Description

A walkover survey was carried out by Headland Archaeology in October 2013 in advance of construction work at the proposed Corriegarth Wind Farm, Loch Mhor. The survey was carried out based on the conclusions of previous assessments suggesting there was the potential for unexpected archaeological discoveries and following changes to the access routes and the adition of three further turbnines at the eastern end of the development area. As a result a series of recommendations to mitigate the impact of the construction of the windfarm on heritage assets were proposed. <1>
