Description

A desk-based assessment was carried out by Highland Archaeology Services in July 2013 in advance of a proposed wind farm development at Creag Riabhach on the Altnaharra Estate, Sutherland. It was considered unnecessary to carry out a walkover survey as the potential for direct effects from construction was considered to be small and given the height of the development area the presence of undiscovered archaeological sites was considered to be unlikely. No mitigation measures were proposed as no cultural heritage features were expected to be directly affected by construction, maintenance or decommissioning operations. <1>
