Description

A besk-based assessment and walkover survey were carried out by Highland Archaeology Services in 2014 ahead of a proposed run-of-river hydro-electric scheme along Garbh Allt on Glencalvie Estate, Highland. The sites of the proposed intake, turbine and penstock line as well as the expected access route were walked to identify any cultural heritage remains that might be affected. The survey identified eight features of archaeological or cultural heritage interest. <1>
