Description
A watching brief was carried out by Wordsworth Archaeological Services in February 1996 as a condition of the planning permission granted for the construction of a new public toilet block at John O'Groats. It was agreed that as the construction of the new block required the re-routing of existing services a watching brief on these trenches would suffice. No archaeological deposits were exposed. <1>
