Description

An watching brief on an area of a proposed new pumping station at Balnabruach, Portmahomack, was carried out by GUARD over two days in November 1992. The area was top soil stripped by machine, which was archaeologically supervised. Little of archaeological interest was revealed. Some field drains were identified but it was proved that no evidence for a chapel thought to exist in the area survived within the development area. <1> <2>
