This site is no. 2 in Stuart Farrell's pre-forestry survey of 2002 (Report 1021):
"Walkover reveals that this site is very heavily overgrown with bracken, though the sub-circular enclosure and L-shaped structure are traceable. A few large stones are visible in the l-shaped structure"

An enigmatic complex of stone-built structures, overgrown with bracken. It is built up on a SE-facing slope under rough pasture, and measures overall 27.5 N-S x 17.5m. It appears to comprise, at its N end a sub-circular enclosure within a wall 1m high and spread to 3m. Bounding it on the S side is an L-shaped structure entered from the SW; its inner face is defined by occasional upright slabs. This mode of construction is unquestionably early, and is commonly found in stone-walled hut circles and "wags". In plan the complex resembles the homestead at Uppat (NC80SE 5), but positive identification is not possible due to its mutilated condition and the addition of stone clearance.
