The roofless ruin of a crofter's house...(Name Book compiled 1874; OS 6-inch map 1962, shows several roofless buildings and associated enclosures in the area centred NC 578 554.)
Name Book (Sutherland).

A farmstead, comprising one unroofed building of two compartments, an unroofed structure and an enclosure, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xxv). It is shown as five unroofed buildings, an unroofed structure and an enclosure on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1962). This may be part of the township recorded on Roy's map at NC 573 554 (see NC55NE 33).
