Dalmore: 'A few ruins...' (Name Book compiled c.1873.)
Name Book (Sutherland).

Crofting township abandoned in the 18th/19th century. Remains include six building footings ranging from 12m by 4m to 30m by 5m, reduced enclosure and field walls ruins of a corn-drying kiln and the course of a head dyke or bank.
Visited by OS (JM) 12 May 1981.

A township comprising three unroofed buildings, two enclosures and some cultivated ground is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet lxxxvi). Three unroofed buildings, two enclosures and a field are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1992).
