Full Description

Centred on NC 709 062, on a SW-facing hillside, is a number of stony mounds typical of hut circle-associated field clearance. There are huts known in the neighbourhood.
Visited by OS (J M) 19 May 1981.

There is a scatter of small cairns, which measure up to 4m in diameter and 0.4m in height, situated within relatively recently improved and fenced ground on a SW-facing hillside to the NE of the Torbreck Burn. Larger spreads of vegetation-free stones visible in the area may have been formed during the recent improvements.
