Full Description

NC70NW 13 737 061.

Drum-Airgid: On this ridge are the remains of two round towers, one large, the other close to it, smaller; a bronze palstave was found in it in 1838 (see also NC70NW 12).
J Mackay 1894.

It appears that Mackay is referring to hut circles A and B described on NC70NW 18 when describing the remains of two 'round towers'. The bronze palstave he mentioned is possibly that recorded on NC70NW 12.
Visited by OS (N K B) 12 June 1981.
