Full Description

Situated on a NW facing moderate hillslope, in rough pasture.
Information added by A M Fox, Highland Council Archaeology Unit, 17.04.00.

NC70NE 33 786 091.

Watson quotes 'Cill Ach-Breanaidh' as being one of the seven churches of Strathbrora. The name has not been identified and Watson cannot give a meaning, but it is possible that the 'Kylvrannie' form of the modern name 'Coilreaney' (NC 786 091) may refer. 'Kylvrannie' is the spelling contained in 1815 rentals.
W J Watson 1926; R J Adam 1972.
