Full Description
NC82NE 52 8702 2887.
This burnt mound measures 9.5m from NW to SE by 6.5m transversely and 1.1m in height. It lies to the W of the public road and sits on top of a steep bank above a sump and comprises two heaps of burnt mound material in a U-shaped setting opening to the SW. Lifting a sod revealed densely packed cracked stone set in a matrix of black soil and charcoal.
