(A: NC 6205 5347; B: NC 6211 5346) Hut Circles (NR)
OS 6"map, (1961)

Two hut circles discovered by the previous field investigator (OS {J L D}) both covered by thick heather, lie on opposite banks of a burn.
'A' situated on a knoll is approximately 10.5m in diameter within a wall of indefinite width indicated only by a slight rise in the heather. The entrance is in the south east.
'B' is far more substantial, it measures 8.5m south east-north west by 7.5m within a wall generally spread to 3.0m wide and 0.6m high. At the entrance in the south east, which appears to be 'clubbed', the wall is spread to 4.0m wide.
There is no trace of associated cultivation on the undulating peat covered surrounding ground.
Surveyed at 1/10,000 and revised at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J L D) 25 April 1960 and (J B) 6 September 1978.
