At NC 7387 5961, on a natural shelf close by Clachan Burn, is an oval burnt mound measuring 11m NE-SW by 10m transversely and 1m high. It contains a central depression, 0.6m deep which opens out to NE. Small burnt stones are exposed in the mound, and several larger unburnt stones protrude through the turf and heather but no pattern can be established. There are about 6 stone clearance heaps about 50.0m to the west, but no associated hut circle can be seen. Surveyed at 1:10000.
