NC72NE 3 7867 2621.
A heap of iron slag has been exposed by water action on the north bank of the R Frithe at the foot of Achrimsdale Hill c.1 1/2 miles above Allt an Duin Lodge (Altanduin: NC 809 259).
RCAHMS 1911, visited 1909.
About six lumps of bloomery slag are visible in the north bank of the Abhainn na Frithe at NC 7867 2621. Immediately to the E and abutting the slag are the eroded remains of a burnt mound. (See NC72NE 7 ).
