A settlement, discovered during field investigation and surveyed at 1:10,560 (OS {J L D}). of three huts ('A'-'C'). All were probably entered in the SE. Dimensions are given between wall centres.
'A', the most prominent,situated on the summit of a knoll, measures 13.0m in diameter with a strong wall destroyed in the S quarter.
'B' built onto the slope in the NE is 9.5m SE-NW by 8.5m.
'C' is situated in a hollow, with a less well-defined wall than the other two. It measures 10.0m SE-NW by 9.0m.
An old field wall and a few stone clearance heaps in the immediate vicinity are evidence of contemporary cultivation.
