Full Description

NC80NE 31 8661 0817.

NC 8661 0817. A circular enclosure measuring 12.0m in diameter between the centres of a stone wall spread to 2.5m It is situated in unusually damp ground and its good state of preservation suggests it may be an animal enclosure of a relatively late date rather than a hut circle. No entrance is apparent.
Nearby are the walls and enclosures of an 18th/19th century deserted settlement.
