Full Description

Local folklore seems to suggest that their was a graveyard somewhere in the Doll. It may be associated with St. Machan's Chapel and be located at NC 87390 04277. At this location are 2 fields to the SE of the 'Ford' which are situated below a river tarrace.

At Doll, Brora, St Machan is commemorated in a chapel. He was educated in Ireland, flourished during the 6th century and laboured in Alba.

No further information obtained.
