Full Description
NC75SW 30 7251 5471.
At NC 7251 5471, near the foot of a westerly slope and inside the bend of a parched burn, is a roughly crescentic burnt mound the open east side, facing onto the burn. It is 12.0m diameter and formed of two main mounds; 1.5 and 1.0m high in the north and south respectively, linked by a bank-like spread 0.5m high round the west. A heavy blanket of heather conceals the content.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 12 July 1977.
