Full Description

Before 1726 there was a strong bridge with an inn at E end a little below the junction of the Langwell and the Berriedale Waters.
Orig Paroch Scot 1855; W Macfarlane 1906-8

Area ND 119 226. No trace of the bridge or inn was found during field investigation.
Visited by OS (J L D) 14 June 1960.
