Full Description
NC74NW 19 7200 4820.
On a river terrace under pasture, is a turf-covered hut circle, pointed out by Mr O'Reilly (K O'Reilly, YHA, Tongue) It measures 13m in diameter within an insubstantial rubble wall spread to 1.5m wide and 0.2m average height. A gap in the NW are of the wall, where it broadens to a spread of 2m, is probably the entrance. Recent land-use has obliterated any cultivation associated with the hut which may have existed.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J B) 22 December 1978.
