Full Description
NC75NW 83 7450 5810.
On a heather covered west facing hillside, are two almost abutting hut circles, one lying east and immediately upslope of the other. Both huts are obscured by bracken. The lower hut is 7.5m north-south by 6.5m within a wall, revetted in the west, and generally spread to 2m wide and 0.4m high. The entrance is in the south. The se second hut is identical to the former except that the wall is not revetted. It measures 7m SW-NE by 6m internally with the entrance in SW. A minor field system of 4 hectares surrounds the huts. It is defined solely by heather covered clearance heaps 15m to 20m apart.
Surveyed at 1:10000. Visited by OS (J B) 8 December 1978.
