(NC 7797 1561) A circular, stone-walled hut-circle. shown but not named on OS 6" map (1963), is set into a slight rise on river terrace. It is 10.2m in diameter within a substantial wall whose inner face of contiguous slabs on edge survives intermittently; the outer face could not be definitely identified but a wall thickness of 1.5m is estimated. There is no indication of contemporary cultivation. The immediate and general area bears witness to 18th and 19th Century abandoned settlement, and later limited agricultural use.
