On the lower south-easterly slopes of a hill are the remains of several hut circles, and shieling bothies (See NC71NW 6).
Visited by OS (E G C) 22 July 1961.
There are three ill-preserved and heather-covered hut circles (A-C) in the area indicated.
'A' measures 9.5 by 8.5m within a wall spread to 4.5m and 0.3m high at the entrance in the SE on the line of the main axis, but elsewhere obscured.
'B' measures 5.5m diameter inside an ill-defined wall-spread; the entrance is in the SE.
'C' measures approximately 7.0m diameter internally; but details are obscured or destroyed by the overlying remains of one or more shieling bothies.
The only evidence of associated land-use is several scattered field clearance heaps.
Revised at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J M) 14 May 1981.
