Full Description

Foundations varying from 10m by 3m to 17m by 5m and up to 2.2m high. Four kilns in the area.
Visited by OS 19 July 1961.

Remains of crofting habitation abandoned in the 18th/19th century. Four kilns were noted recently but probably refer to a close group of shieling/bothy footings on the SW bank of the Coirefrois Burn. There are ruins of a later house and enclosure on the site.
