Full Description

NC71SE 20 7881 1388.

NC 7881 1388. A circular, turf-covered cairn was found during field investigation on a prominent east-facing false crest just inside the confines of the deserted township of Achnacoile (NC71SE 12). It measures 12.5m in diameter and 1.0m high with some of its stony content protruding through the turf. It appears to be undisturbed.
