Full Description

NC73SW 23 723 349.

A deserted settlement lies on the almost flat land W of Loch Rimsdale and S of Allt Achadh an Daraich.
Information from MS, A Field Survey in the Loch Rimsdale Area, June 1975, site ref 13 (see archive).

The site has been destroyed to a large extent by forestry ploughing; only the southern part of the hamlet survives, including the footings of a house, 8 x 3m, part of the boundary wall, and a small rectangular enclosure. Immediately to the NE of the house are the probable remains of run-rig now heavily silted.
Visited by OS 2 May 1977.
