NC 231 507. Sherrichaiv: a group of buildings.
W Roy 1747-55.
Now Skerricha, an in use croft; also two building footings, 13m by 4.5m and 18m by 4.5m. The smaller is in part overlaid by modern enclosures. There are also remnants of old field walls. Lazy-bed cultivation is evident to the N.
Visited by OS (JM) 8 June 1980.
A farmstead comprising two enclosures (one sub-divided) is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xxxi). The farmstead is shown as two unroofed and two roofed structures on the current edition OS 1:10,560 map (1962).
