Full Description
NC36NE 66 3789 6699.
Oval hut 8m by 4m on the shore. The shores of the loch are divided into strips within head-dykes.
T C Welsh 1972m. <1>
An early modern sub-rectangular building footing as described. The stone wall is 0.9m wide and averages 0.3m high. Contemporary field clearance lies to the NW.
Visited by OS (JB) 28 April 1980.
Rectangular structure measuring 8 m NNW/SSE by 4 m, defined by low turf-covered banks with occasional stone visible in their fabric The long sides are bowed. The banks spread up to 1.2 m wide. No obvious entrance.
Remains of Medieval to post-Medieval building.
On W shore of Loch Borralie under bracken and grass.
