Centred on NC 729 050, along a gentle W facing slope, is a number of stony heaps typical of hut circle-associated field clearance. There are a number of hut circles in neighbourhood.
Visited by OS (J M) 10 April 1981.

There are about twenty small cairns, measuring up to 5m in diameter and 0.4m height, on well-drained hillside to WNW of Achnagarron. Several cairns lie within the semi-improved, partially wooded, ground to E of earth-and-stone dyke and fence which delimits western extent of enclosed ground around Achnagarron.
